How we can help

Our diocese and cathedral have established the Joshua Centre to be a resource centre for
multiplying congregations. We’re a small team based at St James’ House together with a few
experienced practitioners who are commissioned by Bishop Paul as Fellows of the Joshua
Centre. Together, we’re available to:

  • Share more about the vision with you and your parish or deanery.
  • Explore in conversation with incumbents and lay leaders what may be emerging out
    of your mission.
  • Offer training and ongoing mentoring through the Cultivate development process.
  • Offer start up grants for new congregations, for example to enable them to employ a
lay leader one day per week or in other ways.
  • Pray for you and with you.
