Items Needed:
- Paper
- Envelopes
- Pens
- Postbox (You can make one with a box covered in red paper or paint or even just a big brown box with a hole cut into it)
Overview:
Place the postbox at the front.
Give each table or group a sheet of paper, an envelope and some pens.
Ask them to spend a few minutes discussing and writing down anything that they would like to pray for (encourage them to think about their own friends and family, your church and the wider world).
Once they have a list get everyone on the table to sign the letter and give one person the responsibility of “posting” the letter in your letterbox as a symbol of offering those prayers to God.
Once everyone has posted their letter bring things together with a short prayer to close.
