Touching Jesus – Healing

This station follows the talk “Touching Jesus

Overview:

This station is a very simple, tactile way to help people to think about praying for healing. Use the bible verses in the text or an alternative if you are using a similar passage from elsewhere.

One of the synagogue leaders, named Jairus, came, and when he saw Jesus, he fell at his feet. He pleaded earnestly with him, “My little daughter is dying. Please come and put your hands on her so that she will be healed and live.” (Mark 5:22-23)

Who do you want to ask Jesus to touch?

How do they need his healing?

Take some time to pray for them.

If you wish, put a sticking plaster on your hand or arm. Every time you notice it, let it remind you of that person and say a quick prayer for them again asking Jesus to touch them.

Resources Needed:

  • Sticking plasters
  • Printed instructions (Add a picture of a hand with a sticking plaster on it so it doesn’t seem too wordy!)
