God The Mountain Leveller and Barrier Breaker

Resources Needed:

  • Paper with the prayer below
  • Isaiah 45:1-7 either on a Powerpoint slide or a handout

Read the passage and explain that God wants to level our mountains and break down our barriers.

‘Lord, I pray that you would go before ……..………..to level ……………………….. and that you would break down and cut through…………………..

  1. The first space is for them to write their name.
  2. The second space is for them to write down the mountain/s they are facing in their lives at the moment which they want God to level.
  3. The third space if for them to write down the barriers they want God to break down or cut through.

Next, use this prayer to pray for the person next to you. If you don’t want to share the specifics of your mountain/barriers, then leave the spaces blank and as the person prays quietly bring them to God in your heart.
