Resources Needed:
- Red card (A5 size)
- Scissors
- Pens
Printed Instructions
Fold a piece of red card in half and draw a heart shape on it.
Cut round the shape, leaving the fold at the top of the heart uncut so that it can be opened and closed.
Decorate the front of the heart and write on it the words “What is important?”
Open the card up and write inside it the thing that Jesus said was the most important commandment:
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and love your neighbour as you love yourself.”
You might like to keep it somewhere this week where you will see it regularly so that it will remind you of the way that Jesus calls us to live.
